I’m just getting ready to catch my early morning flight back to the East Coast, with an overall positive impression from my experiences at the Brandon Hall Conference this past week. I’ll have some time to reflect and will post my notes in the next few days. In the meantime. take a look at the Hitchhikr site that Janet Clarey set up for the conference. I’d recommend this aggregation tool for any conference (that’s a hint, Dave).
I agree that this tool was immeasurably valuable for me. Being a newbie to the field of education and a technocrat, this tool helped me find people with like interests quickly and actually helped me gain true value and take-aways from the conference. It would be helpful to have a tool like this one for other social environments, as well.
As I mentioned, I’m not such a fan of the Flickr interface but for the sake of aggregating conference images, I uploaded images and tagged them and voilà ! the images are now there!
