I’m in Santa Clara for the Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning Conference. Last night we went to Santa Cruz for seafood on the pier, with the sound of sea lions around us. It was too dark to get a photo of these interesting animals, but I thought this sign was kind of neat. We did not feed the birds.
Janet and I will be presenting our workshop tomorrow. For pictures, go to the Flickr group, and if you’re attending, please post and share.

Hi Harold,
I like these signs, I’m German. :-)
Here’s a wonderful one I saw in St. Petersburg, Russia: http://www.weblog.drlist.de/?p=231
Stephan
Please tell me it will be recorded to share with those of us otherwise doomed to conference envy!
I’m not sure if it will be recorded, but I’ll be blogging the sessions I attend and I’m sure that Stephen and Jay will too. If there are recordings available, I’ll post the link.
You didn’t miss anything of any importance, the presenters tried to be TOO cutting edge and ended up alienating a large chunk of participats. While Jay may have blogged that 99% received value, I would argue that by the time that question was asked the audience was 1/2 so really, less than 50% of the users thought they got their money’s worth, or stayed long enough to voice an opinion either way..
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, IIL07FirstTimer. I’m sorry that it was not a positive experience for you. I found it to be the best conference I’ve attended in years. Each person’s needs and expectations are different.
